In the history of Azerbaijan Aikido, the first school officially registered by Japan from Japan is Azerbaijan "Yoshinkan Aikido Buryukan" Public Union.

On the initiative of Atil Agamirov, the "Buryukan" school was officially registered by the Japan Yoshinkan Aikido Federation in 2012.

The formed Public Union was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2013.

Although the date of registration of the official school in Azerbaijan was recorded in 2012, the history of Azerbaijani Yoshinkan Aikido dates back to the early 2000s.

At that time, Atil Agamirov, who met a number of high-ranking senseis, began to take lessons from them. First, 8th dan black belt David Eayrs takes private lessons from Sensei. Atil Agamirov, who started learning the intricacies of Aikido from Yoshinki, continues on this path by participating in the seminars of Kyoichi Inoue 10th black belt, Chida Tsutomu 8th black belt, and David Eayrs 8th black belt sensei in Moscow, Russia. In addition, at the same time, Tsuneo, a 9th dan black belt in Moscow, attended a seminar held by Ando sensei and got to know him. Thanks to this acquaintance, he started joining Ando Sensei's training for the first time in 2008 at the headquarters of the World Yoshinkan Aikido Federation in Tokyo, Japan. In addition, he joins the training of Chino Susumu sensei, an 8th black belt master.

His visit to Japan in 2012 was the first in the history of Azerbaijan.

9th-dan black belt master Tsuneo Ando Sensei's "Gasshuku" training, he obtained various degrees as a result.

He is the first in history to have the right to open an official school in Azerbaijan.

The next significant date for Azerbaijani Aikido is 2013. On May 10, the International seminar on Yoshinkan Aikido dedicated to the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held under the leadership of Tsuneo Ando sensei. The students of our school took Ando sensei's exam in this seminar and obtained various degrees.

The next first Azerbaijan Aikido entered history coincides with October and November of 2013. Atil Agamirov and Ulvi Agamirov visited Japan and joined the Gasshuku training program and at the same time joined the 58th All Japan Yoshinkan Aikido festival organized in Tokyo and duly represented our country there and signed first.

In addition, Takeno Takefumi 9th degree black belt, Tsuneo Ando 9th degree black belt and Chino Susumu 8th degree black belt participate in the seminars of sensei.

Seminars are organized under the leadership of Akira Mitsuhashi, a 6th dan black belt who was invited to Azerbaijan in 2014. Along with Azerbaijan Yoshinkan Aikido team, Azerbaijani Aikikai schools are invited here.

Azerbaijani Yoshinkan Aikido, which is highly appreciated by Azerbaijani athletes, combines the strict style and ancient fighting techniques, and Yoshinkan Aikido classes have even been held in a number of state bodies.

From that time until now, Azerbaijani Yoshinkan Aikido masters who have passed through these paths participate in training exercises in Japan, participate in seminars, international festivals and take exams for high dan degrees.
